A little house on the prairie?

In a previous ‘Family’ post we mentioned how much we enjoyed travelling to a relatives farm and soaking up ‘the serenity’.
Over the past months we have been looking around for our own piece of paradise. We don’t want to be greedy, just 3 or more acres roughly an hour to an hour and a half from our home in Melbourne. Well I think we have found it! We ahve placed an offer in on a property that fits the bill perfectly. The Darryl Kerrigan (The Castle) in me cannot wait to one day sit on the front balcony of a holiday house, drinking VB, cuddling up to my best girl, watching the little fella blast around on his Pee-Wee 50 and uttering these immortal words…
‘How’s the serenity’
Like all dreamers we have plans for this block and we hope everything falls into place and our offer is accepted. Who knows, this purchase may start a whole new thread tracking the progress of our ‘piece of paradise’. We hope to make whatever we do as eco-friendly as possible.
